Not to worry, the injection of tribal mores and culture into our largest cities, via immigration and the "celebration" of multiculturalism sponsored by our government over the last 40 years should provide a clear view of our future, for anyone paying attention of course.

Our "tribes" are leading in the welfare rolls, and leading us to fiscal ruin to provide their "entitlements", demanding that we respect their culture, while they take every opportunity to place restrictions on the free exercise of our own cultural heritage.

I'm not sure the pendulum has reached the end of it's arc to the left just yet, but it will soon and the change of direction is going to come as quite a shock to some. Quite a shock indeed.

Well written and thoughtful as always, Mr. Publius!

However, my only criticism is your concerns about China. China depends on the United States just as much as the United States depends on China. Their economic relationship is symbiotic. China could devastate the United States by calling in their loans, but the United States could also devastate China by cutting off exports, especially food. They have have no reason to be in conflict with each other, because neither can thrive without the other.

The nutjobs in Russia, North Korea and Iran on the other hand... there is real cause for concern.
