Some Canadians are more equal than others:
Testifying before Justice John Vertes, former Alberta Health Services head Stephen Duckett mentioned a few names.
Duckett said Brian Hlus, a bureaucrat at Capital Health before the merger into AHS, was the “go-to” guy to get ‘er done when it came to accessing health resources.
“A number of people told me that I should have someone to do those sorts of things, to have someone to fix practically anything,” Duckett said, adding that he was widely criticized when the fixers got kicked in the downsize to a single agency.
About the only witness to tell even a semblance of truth so far.
