Stranger things have happened:
Federal Liberals are serious about making Calgary a cornerstone of their political revival, party leader Bob Rae said Tuesday.
Rae, who was briefly stumping for Calgary Centre Grit candidate Harvey Locke, said his party's hopes are high in the Nov. 26 byelection that could be crucially symbolic.
"We see a very positive progressive change happening across the country, and Calgary and Calgary Centre deserve to be at the table of the renewal of the Liberal Party and of the country," said Rae.
You betcha!
Did you see Justin Trudeau's piece in the National Post today?
The young fellow is speaking favourably for the Chinese buy in the oil sands.
And Martha H-F is talking about scrapping the dairy and egg marketing boards.
Whats next? The Humans Rights commisions?
At this rate the Liberals are going to position themselves to the right of Stephen Harper.
